A bit late, but this was a great LP, thanks for the entertainment. Original Spyro is my favourite game ever - all the gimmicky minigames, vehicles and other characters in 2 and 3 just got in the way of dragoning. Still enjoyed all your old Let's Breaks, and looking forward to the new versions. It'll be fun to see if each level can be broken in the same ways.
As an aside, have you ever thought about LPing Shadow Legacy? It's... not exactly stellar, but passable at least, and maybe breakable. My copy randomly developed a bug where most of the character models (except Spyro) lost their textures and instead had the same creepy mottled black-and-white texture. Quite unsettling, and I quickly sold it after that.

Thank you!!
I'm interesting in giving Shadow Legacy a spin for sure. Never played it beyond 5 minutes!
Spyro's little "Wow!" twirl when getting an orb/talisman is cute. Much more comfortable than bending one's head backwards while wings clip through it.
Why are we smashing up containers and collecting gems in Avalar? It never gets explained. I like to think Spyro's just stealing them out of habit now, and nobody dares to ask why. Classic dragon entitlement.
Does this remake still have the colour-changing/big-head cheat codes?
I seem to remember Spyro 3 having some kind of hidden difficulty setting, that unwittingly made some levels impossible to complete (Fireworks Factory). They've probably scrapped that.

Dunno about the difficulty, but there's still many cheat codes! All of the same ones and a couple of extra.
Air swimming isn't a thing after all? Darn. You got everyone hyped up with that two-second preview earlier!
Portal warp was cool though, and getting trapped in the tube, beautiful. Why would the devs bother to give it a solid and textured bottom, if not to catch sneaky players?

These redesigned levels are so pretty. All the levels in Spyro 1 were gorgeous too. It's incredible how they started with such basic blocky environments and turned them into these.
Okay, a little bit of air swimming is better than none! It's quite surreal seeing the whole level with the sea underneath it.

Wow, this level looks different. Maybe the shiniest revamp yet.
With all the high vertical walls and lack of air swimming, I expected this level would be quite dull. How wrong that was! I applaud your dedication to breaking things.

I always loved that big castle. Epic journey to the top and admire the view, never gets old. The designers never managed it again, did they? Evening Lake felt like an attempt, but fell flat as it was such a small level, and the areas were disjointed.
Not applicable to this level, but: I'm impressed they remade all the before/after level cutscenes. It's the sort of content that would be easy to cut, and bring the game in line with 1 and 3.
But keeping the guidebook in cutscenes, while removing it everywhere else? Strange.
Small note: My PC Crashed and my GPU/Graphics card died. Big Sad. Long story short, had to buy a new one (IN THIS ECONOMY?!) and it's on the way. This will affect Wednesday's video to just being a bonus one. Hopefully that's the extent of it!
Yay ladders! What a strange bug. Hitting the ladder while flying somehow keeps climbing status on, and makes other surfaces climbable...??
Fracture Hills is kind of... there. The setting is a neat idea and I really want to like it, but nah. Maybe if there was less escort mission and more of a temple to explore.
New Badlands look fantastic, a proper transformation.
Both of these levels look amazing. Such visual improvement that they're only half-recogniseable, imo.
I have fond memories of air swimming really high above the Harbour until Spyro froze, the music stopped and random lines of European voice acting started playing.
Haha, they left those tiny corners, with tantalising hints of air floating. Cmon devs. Your attempts at patching it out are just teasing us now.
I love how the new Cone is broken in exactly the same ways as the old one - plus a little extra. Why did that one faun's body have no animation, I'm really curious how that bug could have happened. Don't remember seeing it in this LP before.

Clearly they couldn't stand giving Spyro praise for the weird stuff he'd been doing up till then.
